Financial Assistance

In 2009, we were awarded more than $125,000 in scholarships in membership alone to help people who couldn’t otherwise afford to be part of the Foglia YMCA.

 

At the Foglia YMCA, we give children a safe place to play and learn. We give teens positive role models and constructive activities. We give families opportunities to spend quality time together and build strong relationships. We give our seniors a reason to get out and enjoy life and to share their vast experience with others

 

It is the goal of the Foglia YMCA to provide educational, social and physical development services in our community, regardless of a resident’s ability to pay. A waiver or reduction of fees is available subject to facility and program capacity, and demonstrated need, without regard to race, color, nationality, religion, gender, age or disability.

 

The Foglia YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign makes it possible for children, adults and entire families to obtain membership and participate in programs here at the Foglia YMCA. The Foglia YMCA relies on support from the United Way, private foundations, corporations and donations from the community and members. These dollars support our programs and services
for children, adults and families in our community through the Strong Kids Campaign. Our promise is to never turn anyone away for their inability to pay. Providing kids with opportunities to help them grow into successful adults is at the heart of the campaign. Dollars you contribute help fund essential programs for youth, as well as other programs that strengthen the character in kids, strengthen family bonds and build a stronger community.
