Foglia Aquaducks Swim Team (F.A.S.T. )

This competitive swim team is for experienced swimmers from ages 4-18.  We have very experienced and caring coaches with a variety of swimming backgrounds.  We will be competing in several meets against other YMCAs in the Chicago land area.  Anyone interested in the team should contact the aquatics department to sign up for try-outs.  Practice times are based on the swimmers ability. Assigned practice times may change at the coach's discretion. 

All swim team participants must be Foglia YMCA members.  There is a 10% discount for each additional child.

Pre-requisites:
8 and Under
Must be able to swim: 25 yards of freestyle, 25 yards of backstroke, basic breaststroke, and basic butterfly stroke

 

9-12 year olds
Must be able to swim: 50 yards of freestyle with open turns, 50 yards of backstroke, 50 yards of breaststroke,and 25 yards of butterfly

12-18 year olds
Must be able to swim: 100 yards of freestyle with flip turns, 100 yards of backstroke, 100 yards of breaststroke, and 50 yards of butterfly

Fall 2008 Practice Times, Levels and Fees :

 

Yellow Team- 10 & Under/Novice Swimmers
3 practices per week- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 5:15 - 6:30 pm

Fee: $ 405

 

Orange Team- 12 & Under/Novice/Advanced Swimmers
3 practices per week- Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 6:15 - 7:30 pm

Fee: $ 405

Red Team- 12 & Under/Novice/Advanced Swimmers
3 practices per week- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 6:15 - 7:30 pm

Fee: $ 405

 

Green Team- 12 & Under/Novice/Advanced Swimmers
5 practices per week- Monday thru Friday from 6:15 - 7:30 pm

Fee: $ 485

Blue Team- Advanced/District Level Swimmers
4 practices per week- Monday thru Thursday from 7:15 - 9:00 pm

Fee: $ 435
